Romance on the Rails Valentine Train

couple-smiling300The days when rail travel was the height of sophistication recalls a type romance and intrigue that is perfect for a special Valentine’s Day evening. Seated in a warm and cozy dome car, each couple will be treated to an elegant four-course meal, wine and decadent chocolate buffet. A live jazz band sets the tone for all couples to enjoy each other’s company. At the core of Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and affection, and the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad is here to set the mood.

Dinner Menu

First Course

Vegetable Noodle Soup
served with Whole Wheat Heart Crouton A Hearty Vegetable Soup made with Carrots, Celery, Onions, and Egg Noodles. Garnished with a crouton of Whole Wheat Toast.

Second Course

Caesar Salad
Romaine Lettuce dressed with Caesar Dressing, Croutons, Grape Tomatoes, and Red Onion.

Third Course

Beef
Beef Tenderloin topped with a Wild Mushroom Sauce Fingerling Potato O’Brien Colored Vegetable Medley of Broccoli, Carrots, Asparagus And Grape Tomato. Chicken – Chicken Breast Chasseuer Fettucini Alfredo with a Colored Vegetable Medley of Broccoli, Carrots, Asparagus, and Grape Tomato. Vegetarian – Cheese Filled Manicotti Topped with Alfredo and Marinara Sauces and served with a Colored Vegetable Medley of Broccoli, Carrots, Asparagus, and Grape Tomato.

Fourth Course

Strawberry Topped Cheesecake
